All applicants are strongly advised to submit all required documents as soon as possible and prior to the given deadlines. Failure to do so will result in an applicant's removal from the applicant pool. NOTE - All application material must be RECEIVED BY - NOT postmarked by - the given deadlines. It is vitally important for all applicants to understand that the application deadlines must be met. Please remember, acceptance into any of the professional DVM programs across the country is very difficult, as there are hundreds of applicants being received for a much smaller number of available seats in the upcoming classes. The first step to the application process is submitting all material in a timely fashion.

| • Oct. 1st | Highly advised last date to take the GRE in order to have score submitted in time for November 15th deadline. |
| • Oct. 3rd | Deadline to submit VMCAS application & fee is Oct. 3rd, 2011 at 12:00pm NOON (CDT) |
| • Oct. 3rd | Deadline to submit letters of recommendation to Oct. 3rd, 2011 at 12:00pm NOON (CDT) |
| • Oct. 3rd | ALL transcripts must be RECEIVED by LSU SVM (from ALL schools attended, even if only for one semester/course) |
| • Nov. 15th | Supplemental application must be submitted electronically to the LSU SVM no later than 12:00pm NOON (Central STANDARD Time) on November 15th; The $75 application fee can only be mailed to the LSU SVM's Admissions Office and must be received no later than November 15th, 2011. |
| • Nov. 15th | Deadline for receipt of GRE scores by LSU SVM. NOTE: Scores must be sent directly to the LSU SVM (school code 6381) NOT the LSU Graduate School. |
| • Jan. 15th | ALL official transcripts (including 2011 fall semester grades) must be RECEIVED by LSU SVM Admissions Office. |
