The LSU-SVM  Bookstore (Louisiana Student Veterinary Supplies Corp.) is a non-profit organization run by veterinary students of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine to serve its students, faculty, and staff. The bookstore carries veterinary textbooks, instruments, and supplies necessary for the veterinary curriculum, as well as apparel and other souvenirs. It provides funding for scholarships and makes numerous donations to various student clubs and organizations.

Founded in 1975, the LSU-SVM Bookstore provides books and supplies to veterinary students and faculty. Along with veterinary textbooks and instruments we offer a wide selection of souvenirs and novelties featuring the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine logo. As a non-profit business, 100% of our revenue is invested back into our school. Each year we donate several thousand dollars in money and merchandise to various organizations and fundraisers here at the Vet School. We also fund scholarships for students. After donations, our profits provide salaries for our employees and allow us to develop new merchandise and services for our customers.

We are located in Room 2101A on the second floor of the LSU Vet School between the Year I and Year II Classrooms.

As a completely student-run facility, the bookstore hours must accommodate the class schedules of employees.

Our hours of operation during the school year are M-F 12:00–12:45 pm

Summer and Winter Break hours are M-TH 12:00–1:00 pm

The bookstore is closed on all university holidays.
